The US stimulus package is slowing again 27-10-2020

It appeared that the stimulus package talks had stalled again, and did not proceed as agreed upon ! On Monday, White House Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow said the talks had slowed. US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that she hopes to reach an agreement with the White House before the US presidential elections, which are only a few days away from us, but it is unlikely that the Senate will approve any package of the huge size that Pelosi wants.

 

Gold rose during morning trading on Tuesday, taking advantage of the dollar’s weakness : Gold futures rose 0.24%, trading at $ 1,910.30 an ounce.

Oil also advanced during today’s session : US oil futures rose by 0.51%, to be traded at $ 38.73 a barrel, while Brent oil futures contracts rose 0.44%, to be traded at $ 41.02 Barrel.

 

Japanese stocks recorded a slight decline during trading on Tuesday, as improved corporate profits limited the decline in shares during trading. Consequently, the Nikkei 225 fell by 0.03%, while the broader Topix index fell 0.09%.
