News Date: 22/12/2022 01:50:37

Oil prices rose today with the decline in inventories of crude oil and heating oil in the United States, as according to the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures rose in February by 0.42%, to trade at a price of $78.62.

The yellow metal also rose, supported by the weakness of the dollar index, and spot gold contracts rose by 0.2%, reaching $1818.40, while gold futures contracts increased by 0.18%, to trade at $1828.65.

It was previously traded at a session high of $1829.15 an ounce.

The main stock indices on Wall Street closed higher on Wednesday, thanks to the decline in investor expectations, as stock indices rose to the upside, and thus achieved gains in the oil and natural gas sectors, and the industrial and technology sectors.

At the end of trading in New York, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 1.60%, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 index increased by 1.49%, and the Nasdaq index rose by 1.54%.
